A scary incident went down this weekend. Police were called to the scene when someone reported a pipe bomb on the golf course.
 
According to the Columbus Police Department, an explosive was found in a ditch at the Greenbelt Golf Course located at 1000 North Gladstone Ave. Police retrieved it around 6 p.m.
 




 
Police said members of the CPD Hazardous Devices Unit responded to the scene and rendered the device safe.
 
Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident. Authorities have said that there is no reason to believe anyone is in danger after the investigation.
 
A search of the area was conducted and no other explosive devices were found.
 
At this time, it does not appear any arrests have been made in connection to the bomb.
 




 
No further details were immediately available, nor was a picture of the device.
