Would You Rather – Golf Edition
The “would you rather” game that you play with friends and family is a classic. But have you ever thought about it when it comes to golf?
Let’s break down some of the best “would you rather” questions for golfers.
Play a Round with Tiger Woods or Jack Nicklaus
Tiger and Jack are the two “GOAT’s” of golf… which one would you rather play a round with?
The guy with more majors or the guy who revolutionized golf for millions of people?
Make a Hole in One or a Double Eagle
A hole in one is pretty epic, but how many people do you know that have made a double eagle? A two on a par 5 is an amazing memory but cooler than an ace?
We’ll let you choose…
Attend the Ryder Cup or The Masters
How can I get both?
These events are every golfer’s dream.
Imagine seeing Augusta in all its spring glory. Or, wear your red, white, and blue while slamming $10 beers as you root for team USA.
Never 3-Putt Again But Never Hit a Driver Again
As much as I hate three putting, I couldn’t imagine playing golf without the big stick. I’m taking the driver and going to the putting green now to work on my short game.
Make a 7-Foot Downhill Putt or Hit a Fairway for One Million Dollars
One million dollars is on the line…
Do you take a slippery, left to right downhill putt on fast greens?
Or, are you putting faith in your driver to find the short grass on a tight fairway?
Hit The Green on #16 at TPC Scottsdale or #17 at TPC Sawgrass
TPC Scottsdale is home to the Waste Management golf tournament. It’s more of a carnival than a golf tournament.
After going for several years, I truly don’t know how players can focus with all the commotion.
There are between 80-250,000 people in attendance each day!
The 16th hole is a short par 3 (about 140 yards) and they build a coliseum around it. The loudest, drunkest fans cheering you on or shaming your bad shot.
Meanwhile, another iconic par 3 on the PGA Tour is the island green, #17 at TPC Sawgrass. It’s also about 140 yards but one key difference – an island green.
Which would you rather hit under pressure?
Play Augusta National Once or Play Pebble Beach Every Year For Life
This is such a hard question!
I’ve been fortunate enough to play Pebble Beach and can say it was an epic experience. But Augusta National is one of the most exclusive golf courses in the world. Even billionaires struggle to play there, let alone becoming a member.
For me, that’s why I would have to choose a round at the Master’s venue. You can always get a tee time at Pebble (even if it’s $500 a round).
Which question was the most difficult to answer?
