ICYMI: Your Weekly Golf Roundup – November 20, 2021
It’s almost turkey time! Hopefully this week you have some big plans to spend time with friends and family. Take some time to reflect on all the things you are grateful for. Healthy family, a roof over your head, and holiday travel. That’s right folks, you read that right. With everyone taking off to go see all of their relatives, that frees up some space on your local golf spot. Heck, even if you’re on the road you can grab a quick nine. Go explore a bit and maybe you’ll even miss some of that family drama you’ve been avoiding.
Here’s what you missed this week…
Quite Possibly the Greatest Golf Invention Ever
This is the perfect time of year to learn about this amazing invention. With all of the rain through winter, you are likely to have a damper in your golf plans thanks to inclement weather. We all know the essentials – waterproof pants, jacket, and a good pair of rain gloves. Nobody is going to stand a decent chance out there with your club slipping out of your hand. This product takes it to the next level and guarantee you will want a pair!

Only in Australia
As a golfer, you are used to seeing animals out on the course. Geese, foxes, turkeys, and even gators. One thing I have never experienced however, is a gang of kangaroos as I’m trying to hit my shot. Not only are they distracting, but you do not want to piss one of those things off. That kick can pack quite a punch I’m sure. Best to wait it out on this one.

Crowd Pleaser
This golfer doesn’t look like much at first glance. Then you watch that wind up like he’s hitting in the major leagues. And it’s outta here! While we can’t be sure this guy actually hit it straight, it’s obviously a crowd pleaser. Just listen to all those fans go wild. This guy is going places!

Like Lightning
Ever had one of those rounds where you’re playing a new course and their greens are ridiculously fast? This can have different meanings depending on your level of skill. Either way, it can take a hole or two to really get the feel for speed. Unless you are putting on this course. Not sure you will even get used to it after 18 holes. Whoever cuts these greens is a straight savage!

No Hope
One of the most daunting hazards you’ll find is always a lake. There’s just something about a body of water that is like a magnet for a golf ball. At least with the bunker, you can retrieve your ball and even have a shot at a decent recovery. This golfer seems to be moving past the initial nerves of having such a lie. But alas, he has no hope and ends up just like the rest of us. We feel for you man.
