Weekly Roundup 10/30/21
Weekly Roundup 10/30/21

Welcome to the weekend friends! I’m sure you’ve started celebrating the spooky season with plenty of tricks and treats already. But the fun is just beginning. There’s still time to squeeze in a couple rounds before you head out to get drunk on beer and the candy you swipe from the stash for trick-or-treaters. Plus, here’s some of the hilarious content you missed this week…

Types of Cart Girls

They say that cart girls are the unsung heroes of the course. Somehow, they always come in clutch just when you need a refreshing libation. Of course, not all cart girls are the same. There’s the classic stereotype of what we all expect a cart girl to be. Then, there’s what you actually see on the course. Here’s our list of the different types of “cart girls” you’ll likely see during your weekend round.

Off the Wall

Golf simulators are a great way to learn more about your swing. They offer something the driving range just can’t provide. You won’t have to worry about accidently slicing it into the guy next to you. There are all of these walls around to help keep your shot contained. Except, you might want to work on your precision because in a box, you can be your own worst enemy.

Nailed Him

In case you were wondering… no, the guy that drives the ball picker does not love it when you nail him with your shots at the driving range. This isn’t gonna stop us from seeing how many times we can hit it before he goes driving by. However, it probably isn’t a good idea to try and peg your buddy in the golf cart. That thing offers no protection, and you would hate to piss off your Saturday playing partner.

Chip Shot

We just can’t get enough of this golf commercial. As painful as this is to experience, as long as it’s not happening to me, I will laugh every time. Usually, these funny ads are an exaggerated version of real life, but sadly this one is accurate. Plus, it happens way more frequently than we care to admit. When will we learn that we are not good enough to hit that gap?

So Over It

Golf is not for the faint of heart. It is also not for people with little patience. There will be times where you will go weeks without hitting a decent shot. After dropping hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on this sport, you begin to wonder why the hell you even bother with it. This is a day all golfers will experience and probably more than once…the rage quit.
